The START treaty is necessary for world peace and to hold our position of leadership in the world. He is weakening this country in the eyes of the world, and his ignorance is no excuse for damaging our national security. The diplomats negotiated this treaty, they are the professionals ad their judgements weigh heavily on the acceptance of this treaty. McConnell is dangerous and his leadership has been and will continue to be damaging to the nation.

They made sure he was front and center. Noone missed it.He went down in history as being the man who got the good deal for the Billionaires who desperatly needed it.

McConnell is acting against the best interest of the United States in opposing this treaty. This treaty and its predecessors have had widespread bi-partisan support. The gist of the START treaty: The US has to dismantle some of its missiles and materiel while Russia gets to build more missiles and increase its capabilities to deliver them. Now how in the hell is THAT a smart move?
