Stewart Jabs Obama for Going All ‘Emperor’ on Immigration Action

Jon Stewart took a shot at President Obama tonight for promising executive action on immigration over a year after saying he can’t because he’s not an “emperor.”

Stewart found it amusing that “all it took was one bad midterm election” for Obama to go from “I’m not an emperor” to, well, this.

But Stewart took some serious issue with Republicans like Mitt Romney (who Stewart caught in a teeny bit of hypocrisy) and Fox News for saying almost every day that Obama is shredding or destroying the Constitution. He cried, “Motherfucker’s been shredding the Constitution since February 2009!” and figured Obama “must be doing it article by article, Saw-style.”
