Porn actress Stormy Daniels gave a brief statement to the media on Monday at the conclusion of the Micheal Cohen court hearing.
Daniels attended today’s proceedings in order to witness Cohen’s legal effort to challenge the FBI over their recent raid on his office. This was the raid where federal agents collected documents pertaining to the hush money Cohen paid Daniels in 2016, which is now being investigated for potential crimes.
The hearing was a major news development since Cohen had to out Sean Hannity as the client who he was trying to conceal from public record, and Daniels got in a statement afterwards:
“For years, Mr. Cohen has acted like he is above the law. He’s considered himself and openly and referred to him as Mr. Trump’s ‘fixer.’ He’s played by a different set of rules, or, should we say, no rules at all. He has never thought that the little man or especially women – and even more, women like me – mattered. That ends now. My attorney and I are committed to making sure that everyone finds out the truth and the facts of what happened. I give my word that we will not rest until that happens. Thank you very much.”
