WATCH: Netflix’s Mitt Film Shows Romney’s Reaction to Losing 2012 Election
On Wednesday morning, Netflix debuted the trailer for its upcoming documentary, Mitt, which chronicles Mitt Romney’s rise through the 2008 and 2012 GOP primaries to the moment he lost the 2012 general election.
The film was directed by Greg Whitley, a Romney family friend who was granted extraordinary access to the campaign. The trailer opens with the Romney family just after he’s been informed he’s lost the election, and is chock-full of behind-the-scenes shots of Romney getting some shuteye on the floor of an airplane or trying to iron a shirt he’s already wearing.
Mitt premieres January 24 at 12:01 a.m. on Netflix.
