Rick Perry: ‘Running for the Presidency Is Not an IQ Test’
Eyeing 2016, Texas Governor Rick Perry has entered his third rehabilitation storyline of the past six months, and as part of that rehab MSNBC political correspondent Kasie Hunt asked Perry Thursday morning if was “smart enough” to be president — quite the “when did you stop beating you wife” question.
“Running for the presidency’s not an IQ test,” Perry replied. “It is a test of an individual’s resolve, it’s a test of an individuals’ philosophy, it’s a test of individual’s life experiences.” Hey, he remembered all three!
