‘SHAME ON YOU!’ Pro-Palestine Protesters Confront Guests At Biden Fundraiser With ‘Genocide Joe’ Chants And Signs Of President Kissing Netanyahu

Pro-Palestinian protesters surrounded a Democratic fundraising event on Saturday night and confronted supporters of Joe Biden as they entered and left the party.

The fundraiser in Los Angeles at the Peacock Theatre featured a-list celebrities including, George Clooney and Julia Roberts. The Biden campaign claimed the event raised $28 million before even starting.

X accounts affiliated with the LA protesters posted videos and photos gathering outside the fundraiser with signs referring to the president as “Genocide Joe!” The protesters also carried signs showing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu kissing Biden to symbolize U.S. support for Israel amidst the war with Hamas.

“We are here today to remind Biden and every one attending that there is no business as usual,” protesters chanted outside the gala, which also featured an appearance from former President Barack Obama.

As guests exited the fundraisers, protesters began confronting the guests screaming, “Shame on you!” and accusing them of supporting a genocide in Gaza. The Democratic supporters responded by chanting back, “Let’s go Biden!”

The fundraiser featured a variety of expensive access including a front-row seating, a photo-op with Biden and Obama, and an invite to the fundraising after-party.

In recent months, Biden has faced vocal criticism from the progressive wing of the Democratic party for U.S. policy regarding the war in Gaza. College campuses especially have become a hotbed of protests with more than 200 encampments popping up across the nation.

Moreover, members of Biden’s White House have been confronted, such as Vice President Kamala Harris, who had her interview with Jimmy Kimmel interrupted by protesters shouting, “15,000 children dead because of you!”
