Obama Blasts Trump Admin Over Jared Kushner Comments on Black Americans: ‘Who Are These Folks? What History Books Do They Read?!’

Former President Barack Obama called out Jared Kushner during his Florida rally for Joe Biden on Tuesday.

On Fox News Monday, Kushner talked about issues facing the Black community, scolding “virtue signaling” after George Floyd was killed, and recounted his conversations with Ice Cube.

At one point Kushner said, “One thing we’ve seen in a lot of the Black community, which is mostly Democrat, is that President Trump’s policies are the policies that can help people break out of the problems that they’re complaining about, but he can’t want them to be successful more than that they want to be successful

The former president today railed against Trump over “the economic damage that he inflicted by botching the pandemic response.”

“He loves to talk about black unemployment,’ Obama said. “Unemployment was really high when I came in and we brought the unemployment low and kept on going low and he wants to take credit for it, says he’s the best president for Black folks since Abe Lincoln!”

“Now his advisers are out there saying, including his son-in-law — his son-in-law says white folks have to want to be successful. That’s the problem,” Obama continued, calling out Kushner. “Who are these folks? What history books do they read?! Who do they talk to?”
