The View Criticizes Warren for Not Doing Fox News Town Hall: ‘If You Can’t Face the Fox Audience…’

The hosts of The View criticized Senator Elizabeth Warren today over her decision not to do a town hall on Fox News.

Warren called Fox News a “hate-for-profit racket” and said, “A Democratic town hall gives the Fox News sales team a way to tell potential sponsors it’s safe to buy ads on Fox—no harm to their brand or reputation (spoiler: It’s not).”

Sunny Hostin called it “dismissive of so many Americans for her not to go on Fox News.”

She brought up how well Fox News does in the ratings, said there are “real journalists” like Chris Wallace and Shepard Smith, and added, “If you want to be the President of the United States for everyone, then you need to speak to everyone.”

Joy Behar said she kind of agrees, adding that Trump “never goes on MSNBC or CNN.”

Meghan McCain said it would be good for Warren to potentially change at least “one mind.” She argued for the important of going into “uncomfortable” spaces.

Whoopi Goldberg concluded the segment by saying, “If you can’t face the Fox audience, you can’t face the U.S. It’s that simple.”
