Giada De Laurentiis Reveals Her Favorite Ice Cream Ever

Ice cream season is finally upon us…though if you’re stuck in an office anywhere, in any city, and the air conditioning is on, it probably feels more like soup season. We, like Giada De Laurentiis, believe in “everything in moderation.” Office air conditioning systems could take a hint.

If you’re outside, though, it’s summer, and summer means ice cream. We have our favorite spots, but we’re always looking for something new. Giada caught up with The Kitchn to discuss the stuff as part of their series “My Favorite Pint.” Though she doesn’t look like she eats much ice cream at all, there is one flavor she loves. And, you can find it in the grocery store, making it easier than ever to be like Giada. The winner? Chocolate Chocolate Chip from Häagen Dazs.

She told The Kitchn:

Those of you who know me know that I have a big sweet tooth — and chocolate is definitely my go-to. The more chocolate-y the better; that’s why I always have a pint of Häagen-Dazs chocolate chocolate chip in my freezer. It has the most intense chocolate flavor. It’s almost as good as the chocolate gelato I’ve been eating in Italy while filming Giada in Italy!
