Curtis Stone Attempts To Feed Hoda And Kathy Lee; They Opt To Drink Instead

 


In a beautiful display of new TV series plugging, Around the World in 80 Plates host Curtis Stone stopped by The Today Show‘s Fourth Hour to feature a sampling of culinary treats inspired by the cities visited by the new Bravo competition series. In the “Cooking with Curtis” segment, he treats Hoda and Kathy Lee to paella from Barcelona, onion tartes from Lyon, pasta with Bolognese Sauce from Bologna, tagine from Morocco, and Pad Thai from Chiang Mai. Each dish was accompanied by a beverage pairing (Cava, Beaujolais Nouveau, Trebolina, mint tea, and Singha, respectively), which, other than a sloppy bite of pasta, was the only part of Curtis’s spread in which the ladies partook. Shocker.
