Star-Studded Lineup For SoBe Food & Wine’s Champagne And Chicken Party Revealed

Champagne and fried chicken! They go together like…well, like weird high-brow/low-brow hybrids that shouldn’t go together, but, for some reason, still sound delicious. Luckily, the Food Network South Beach Food & Wine Festival is deeply scratching the itch we didn’t know we had with a new event for this year’s bash called the Chicken Coupe. And it’s hosted by none other than Andrew Carmellini of The Dutch fame!

Also presenting at the fried chicken showcase is the world’s most charming unibrowed man Hugh Acheson, Top Cheftestant Edward Lee, Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Animal, and John Currence of City Grocery, among others. You can check out the full lineup here.

SoBe Food & Wine gears up in Miami the week of February 21-24, 2013, with the Chicken Coupe headlining Saturday night’s festivities at The W. In the meantime, we’ll be testing out this whole chicken and champagne thing ourselves.
