Not only do we think Daniel Boulud is just about the nicest guy all-around, he’s definitely our dream date for New Year’s Eve. Imagine how well we’d eat! Beef wellington with black truffles? Yes please!

A very adorable Boulud joined CBS’ The Dish to share his New Year’s feast to make us completely drool all over our keyboards. And also make us drool over those baseball-sized black truffles. And that 18-year old Delmore blended whiskey. AND CHEESE. WE WANT ALL THE THINGS.

Of course, Boulud’s feast also includes a lot of veggies to help us keep our New Year’s resolutions, but really, we’re just planning on drinking a lot of whiskey and stuffing our faces with truffles like Boulud this New Year’s.* Check out Boulud talk philanthropy, passion, and his view on cookings below.
