Ex-Trump Aide-Turned-Fox News Host Gushes Over Trump Taking the ‘High Road’ in Musk Feud
Former White House press secretary and current Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany lauded her ex-boss, President Donald Trump, for “taking the high road” in his monumental feud with Elon Musk.
The moment came as Friday’s Outnumbered panel discussed the ugly dogfight between America’s two most powerful men trading ruthless barbs, most notably Musk saying Trump is “in the Epstein files.”
At one point, McEnany took a beat to applaud Trump for seemingly letting go of the conflict on Friday, though he did address it in several calls to reporters.
“I want to praise President Trump. Because President Trump today, he could have roasted Elon Musk,” McEnany said. “He’s not doing that. He put out five tweets about the economy.”
She added: “Donald Trump has taken the high road here. He really has. And I want to praise him on that. And let’s hope that for the good of the country, to Bill Ackman’s point, these people come together because the richest man in the world and most powerful can obviously have quite a partnership for the behest of the American people, as we saw with rescued astronauts.”

While Trump stuck to the economy on Friday, his “high road” in the Musk spat has included threats to cancel the Tesla billionaire’s government contracts and the suggestion that he has a drug problem.
