Female Dems Absolutely Destroyed Over Bonkers ‘Choose Your Fighter’ Video

Critics have quickly pounced on a group of female House Democrats on Thursday over a bizarre, video game-inspired TikTok clip.

The video, posted to TikTok this week by influencer Sulhee Jessica Woo, shows Woo and Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Lauren Underwood (D-IL), Katherine Clark (D-MA), Judy Chu (D-CA), Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), and Susie Lee (D-NV) showing off their best fighting stances as the “Choose Your Character” music from the Super Smash Brothers video game plays.

Woo captioned the video with hashtags #womenshistorymonth, #womenwhofight, #fighter, #savedemocracy, and #girlpower.

While Woo, Ocasio-Cortez, and Crockett appear to have understood the assignment with their boxing bounces, Underwood, Clark, Chu, and Lee awkwardly went through the motions.

Despite the empowerment message the video is trying to convey, it’s being trashed on X as “DNC propaganda,” “corny,” and just plain “cringe.”

“Who voted for them?” one commenter questioned.

“What are we doing?” asked another.

“The best part about this is presumably this is precisely to reassure their voters that they’ve figured out how to be an effective opposition party,” quipped CNN’s Jake Tapper. Tapper shared the clip posted by independent journalist Yashar Ali who captioned it with several question marks.
