Fox News Reporter Claims Pro-Palestine Student Protests Are ‘Part of the Hamas Strategy’

Fox News correspondent Mike Tobin was reporting from Israel on the latest strikes against Hamas targets when he told host Neil Cavuto that pro-Palestine student protests were “part of the Hamas strategy” to win the public relations war.

During Your World on Tuesday, the host asked Tobin about what he was hearing from Israelis on the ground and what they thought about growing anti-Semitism in the U.S. and abroad. But he also asked if the terrorist group was “winning the PR war” one month after they crossed into Israel and slaughtered over 1,400 civilians. Tobin agreed, and he claimed the strategy went as far as college campuses in the U.S.:

CAVUTO: Mike, when you talk to Israelis in general, and they see and hear of things like a Palestinian protest that’s going on right now in New York, countless of them around the region, you know your reporting from… Do they get frustrated? Do they not like this notion that in some crazy way, it’s Hamas somehow winning the PR war here with this global push for a ceasefire or a secession activity?

TOBIN: Very frustrated. And they feel like the the world is out to get them, that anti-Semitism is on the rise, that Hamas indeed is playing the PR game and winning at it. They understand that Hamas was never going to beat a tank. You can’t have a paraglider versus a tank and expect to win. The PR game was always part of the strategy. And when you have people protesting at Berkeley or wherever they’re having their student protests, they were always part of the Hamas strategy and they’re playing the role.
