Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes’ New Handshake Drives Internet Crazy
NFL and Taylor Swift fans went wild online after the singer and Brittany Mahomes unveiled their new handshake at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
Swift who is currently dating Chief’s wide receiver, Travis Kelce, joined Brittany as she cheered on her husband Patrick Mahomes during their game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Kansas City Chiefs went on to win the game due in part to Mahomes and Kelce nailing down a touchdown in the second quarter.
The singer and Brittany celebrated the touchdown by debuting a new handshake that involves them slapping the fronts and backs of their hands before grasping their hands and bumping their hips together. Fans on social media went wild as the viral moment quickly began to trend on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Swift’s friendship with Brittany comes as the star has started becoming a regular attendee of Chiefs home games due to her new relationship with Kelce. The chargers game was the fourth matchup she attended since the start of the fling.
Kelce’s family members, including his mom, have been spotted hanging and sharing laughs with Swift at games.
