‘It’s F*cked Up, Man!’ AOC Loses It on Protestors Following Her Out of Movie Theater

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) had some choice words for some protestors who accosted her at a movie theater.

On Monday night, FreedomNewsTV posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing Ocasio-Cortez being harangued by protestors at the theater. The protestors took issue with the lawmaker’s rhetoric about Israel’s war in Gaza after the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks in which 1,200 Israelis were killed and more than 200 were kidnapped. In Israel’s subsequent invasion of Gaza, more than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed.

In the video, the protestors repeatedly ask why Ocasio-Cortez, who is with her fiancé Riley Roberts, has not called Israel’s actions a “genocide”:

PROTESTOR: You refuse to call it a genocide.

AOC: I need you to understand that this is not ok.

PROTESTOR: It’s not ok that there’s a genocide happening and you’re not actively against it.

AOC: You’re lying.

PROTESTOR: I’m lying? You’re not. You went on TV [inaudible]

Ocasio-Cortez, who is walking away from the protestors throughout the video, nonetheless engages with them multiple times.

“Over 30,000 people are dead, AOC,” another protestor tells her. “You can’t just say it for once? Just say the word. That’s it! That’s all we want you to say!”

As they exit the building, Roberts turns to the protestors and implores them to back off. “Stop. Ok? Stop,” he says.

At the end of the video, Ocasio-Cortez tells a protestor that the footage will be edited to remove context:

…And you’re gonna cut this you’re gonna clip this so that it’s completely out of context. I already said that it was. And y’all are just going to pretend that it wasn’t over and over again. It’s fucked up, man! You’re not helping your people! And you’re not helping them! You’re not helping them!
