Jim Jordan Says Biden Probe’s ‘Most Damning Evidence’ Came From Hunter Associate Devon Archer — Who Flat Denied Knowing Of Any Joe Biden Wrongdoing

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) said Sunday that the “most damning evidence” to date in the House’s investigation of President Joe Biden came from a witness who flatly denied knowing of any wrongdoing on Biden’s part.

In an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, anchor Maria Bartiromo asked Jordan to cite the “most damning evidence” House Republicans have uncovered in their investigation thus far. The Ohio congressman replied by citing the testimony of Devon Archer — a Hunter Biden business associate.

“The most damning evidence thus far is what we got from Devon Archer — Hunter Biden’s business partner,” Jordan said. “Because he says what they were selling was the brand. Remember, there’s no business here. They’re selling access to the brand. The brand is the big guy. The brand is Joe Biden. Devon Archer said that.”

In a transcript of his testimony before the House Oversight Committee, Archer — who served with Hunter Biden on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma — said that Hunter would call his father during business meetings and put him on speaker phone. However, Archer said the conversations were “casual” and were not related to business.

At one point, Archer was directly asked, “Are you aware of any wrongdoing by Vice President Biden?

“No, I’m not aware of any,” Archer said.

Still, Jordan noted, “Devon Archer said that the best way to tell this story is through Hunter Biden’s interaction and Joe Biden’s interaction when Hunter Biden was on the board of this Ukrainian energy company, Burisma.”

But Archer was also asked, “based on everything you saw, heard, and observed, did you have any knowledge of Joe Biden having any involvement with Burisma?”

“No — not direct, no,” Archer testified.

Jordan also told Bartiromo, “I always say there are four fundamental facts: Fact number one, Hunter Biden gets put on the board of this company. Fact number two, he’s not qualified — e said so himself. Fact number three is that he’s asked by the leaders of this company to weigh in with D.C. and his father to help them deal with the pressure they are under. Fact number four, Joe Biden goes to Ukraine and conditions the release of American tax dollars to Ukraine on the firing of the prosecutor, who was applying the very pressure to this company, Burisma, the Hunter Biden sat on the board of.”

The prosecutor Jordan was referring to, Viktor Shokin, was reviled among the international community and widely condemned as corrupt. Then Vice President-Biden had widespread support, including from Republican Senators, for his move to help drive Shokin out of office.
