‘PATHETIC’: Marjorie Taylor Greene Names and Blames ‘Feckless Republicans’ Who Helped Defeat Resolution to Censure Tlaib

Shortly after her resolution to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was voted down, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) lashed out at the nearly two dozen House Republicans who voted against it.
In a scathing Wednesday night dispatch on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, Greene posted a list of all the Republicans who voted the resolution down and called them “PATHETIC.”
“List of feckless Republicans that voted WITH Democrats to table my censure resolution against Rashida Tlaib,” Greene wrote. “This is why Republicans NEVER do anything to stop the communists Democrats (sic) or ever hold anyone accountable!!”

Greene even posted a list of the Republicans who abstained from the vote — a list which included newly-minted House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

Johnson defended sitting out the vote in an interview on Fox News with Sean Hannity on Wednesday.
“It’s important for us to beat the Democrats on policy,” Johnson said. “There is a view here that if you go down that road and you begin to censure one another, you kind of open a Pandora’s box. A lot of members of Congress say a lot of foolish things.”
