‘Slander’: House Republicans Fire Back at Dems Over Trump-Epstein Bombshell With Crazy Revelation of Their Own

House Republicans unveiled the identity of a redacted victim mentioned in bombshell Jeffrey Epstein emails mentioning President Donald Trump on Wednesday and accused their Democratic colleagues on the House Oversight Committee of trying to “slander” Trump with the release.
The newly released emails, written by Epstein between 2011 and 2019, appear to discuss Trump in connection with an unnamed “victim.”
In one message to accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein wrote:
i want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump..[VICTIM] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned.
But, moments after publication, House Republicans quickly fired back, claiming the Democrats’ redaction misled the public.
In a post on X, the committee’s Republican members revealed the redacted victim’s name to be that of the late Virginia Giuffre, and accused Democrats of trying to “create a fake narrative to slander President Trump.”
“This victim, Virginia Giuffre, publicly said that she never witnessed wrongdoing by President Trump,” they added.
Giuffre, who accused Epstein and Maxwell of sex trafficking after being recruited from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club, has not accused Trump himself of abuse.
The emails, which also include exchanges with journalist Michael Wolff, offer a rare glimpse into Epstein’s efforts to manage his public image.
The Democratic committee members have not responded to the Republicans’ accusation.
