Team Biden Hits Trump With Brutal Gaffe Ad — On Trump’s Own Truth Social: ‘Called Him Out on His Own Turf!’

President Joe Biden’s campaign hit former President Donald Trump where it hurts with a brutal ad focused on Trump’s gaffes — placed on Trump’s own Truth Social platform.

The Biden campaign has become increasingly aggressive in going after Trump on the issue of his cognitive abilities — and Trump has been giving them a lot to work with. So has Trump rival and former Amb. Nikki Haley, who has taken up the attack as she tries to make a dent in Trump’s huge primary lead.

But on Wednesday, the Biden-Harris HQ account took the attack to Trump’s home field by distributing a cutting compilation in a Truth Social post:

JONATHAN KARL: Donald Trump is truly confused. Nikki Haley is in charge of security. We offered her 10,000 people. They don’t want to talk about that.

NIKKI HALEY: He didn’t just get me confused. He mentioned it over and over and over again. He’s not what he was in 2016. He has declined. That’s a fact.

DONALD TRUMP: I mean, we won last time. We won 50 states, right?

CHRIS SUNUNU: This is not Donald Trump of 2016 guys.

DONALD TRUMP: What? What is…

CHRIS SUNUNU: If he is off the teleprompter, he can barely keep a cogent thought. I mean, that’s just facts.

DONALD TRUMP: We are an institute in a powerful death penalty. We will put this on.

NIKKI HALEY: I think he’s declining.

DONALD TRUMP: I stumbled and mumbled purposely.

I do speak in long, complex sentences. I do have a lot of material in each sentence.

You have voter I.D. to buy a loaf of bread? Yep. You have ID to buy a loaf of bread.

PRESIDENT BIDEN: Have you noticed? He’s a little confused these days.

NEWS ANCHOR: The person close to Trump actually says that he’s rattled by Biden’s efforts to get under his skin.

The ad drew comment from MSNBC host Jonathan Lemire, who devoted a segment of Wednesday morning’s edition of MSNBC’s Way Too Early to the ad, noting the Biden team “called him out on his own turf!”
