The story of the first quarter of the year might have been the alliance between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, but Trump continued to eschew Musk’s X for Truth Social, the social media company he owns — and good thing, considering the course their relationship took.

Here are the 5 wildest posts from the commander-in-chief this year.

1. ‘Punishable by DEATH’

What else could it really have been? After a group of six Democratic lawmakers produced a video urging military and intelligence community members to disregard “illegal orders” in November, Trump worked himself into such a frenzy, that he eventually suggested that they may have committed a crime “punishable by DEATH!”

“It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand – We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET,” wrote Trump in one post before later suggesting that it was “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”

2. Death by ‘TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME’

While much of the world united to grieve Hollywood legend Rob Reiner after the news of his murder broke in mid-December, the president saw it as an opportunity to mock the late filmmaker and actor, whose son is accused of killing both him and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner.

“A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS,” declared Trump on Truth Social. “He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!”

3. ‘Seriously Retarted’ Thanksgiving Day Dig

On Thanksgiving, the president celebrated the holiday by tearing into a pair of his political opponents, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), the latter of whom he even went so far as to describe as being “seriously retarded.”

“A very Happy Thanksgiving salutation to all of our Great American Citizens and Patriots who have been so nice in allowing our Country to be divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at, along with certain other foolish countries throughout the World, for being ‘Politically Correct,’ and just plain STUPID, when it comes to Immigration. The official United States Foreign population stands at 53 million people (Census), most of which are on welfare, from failed nations, or from prisons, mental institutions, gangs, or drug cartels. They and their children are supported through massive payments from Patriotic American Citizens who, because of their beautiful hearts, do not want to openly complain or cause trouble in any way, shape, or form,” began Trump, who continued:

They put up with what has happened to our Country, but it’s eating them alive to do so! A migrant earning $30,000 with a green card will get roughly $50,000 in yearly benefits for their family. The real migrant population is much higher. This refugee burden is the leading cause of social dysfunction in America, something that did not exist after World War II (Failed schools, high crime, urban decay, overcrowded hospitals, housing shortages, and large deficits, etc.). As an example, hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia are completely taking over the once great State of Minnesota. Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for “prey” as our wonderful people stay locked in their apartments and houses hoping against hope that they will be left alone. The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both, while the worst “Congressman/woman” in our Country, Ilhan Omar, always wrapped in her swaddling hijab, and who probably came into the U.S.A. illegally in that you are not allowed to marry your brother, does nothing but hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution, and how “badly” she is treated, when her place of origin is a decadent, backward, and crime ridden nation, which is essentially not even a country for lack of Government, Military, Police, schools, etc…

4. All-Caps Memorial Day ‘SCUM’ Screed

Of course, Trump had already set the tone for his holiday messages on Memorial Day, when he wrote:

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL, INCLUDING THE SCUM THAT SPENT THE LAST FOUR YEARS TRYING TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY THROUGH WARPED RADICAL LEFT MINDS, WHO ALLOWED 21,000,000 MILLION PEOPLE TO ILLEGALLY ENTER OUR COUNTRY, MANY OF THE BEING CRIMINALS AND THE MENTAO INSANE,THROUGH AN OPEN BORDER THAT ONLY AN INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT WOULD APPROVE, AND THROUGH JUDGES WHO ARE ON A MISSION TO KEEP MURDERERS, DRUG DEALERS, RAPISTS, GANG MEMBERS, AND RELEASED PRISONERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, IN OUR COUNTRY SO THEY CAN ROB, MURDERERS, AND RAPE AGAIN, PROTECTED BY THESE USA HATING JUDGES WHO SUFFER FROM AN IDEOLOGY THAT IS SICK, AND VERY DANGEROUS FOR OUR COUNTRY. 5. ‘The N Word (Nuclear!)’

It’s been a whirlwind year for the U.S.-Russia relationship, with Trump flitting back and forth between praising and threatening Vladimir Putin. But perhaps his most notable comments came in response to Putin lackey Dmitry Medvedev.

In June, Medvedev mocked the U.S.’s Trump-ordered strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, and asserted that “a number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.”

Trump did not take kindly to the suggestion.

“Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually throwing around the ‘N word’ (Nuclear!), and saying that he and other Countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran? Did he really say that or, is it just a figment of my imagination? If he did say that, and, if confirmed, please let me know, IMMEDIATELY,” began Trump in a furious Truth Social post. “The ‘N word’ should not be treated so casually. I guess that’s why Putin’s ‘THE BOSS.’ By the way, if anyone thinks our ‘hardware’ was great over the weekend, far and away the strongest and best equipment we have, 20 years advanced over the pack, is our Nuclear Submarines. They are the most powerful and lethal weapons ever built, and just launched the 30 Tomahawks — All 30 hit their mark perfectly. So, in addition to our Great Fighter Pilots, thank you to the Captain and Crew!”

Later in the summer, after Medvedev declared that “If the United States continues its aggressive policy against Russia, and if NATO troops are deployed in Ukraine or strategic facilities are targeted on Russian soil, the response will be immediate and devastating. Russia is a nuclear power, and those making decisions in Washington should not forget this,” even going so far as to submit that, “The result will be that your own cities may cease to exist,” Trump revealed that he had issued orders to American nuclear subs on Truth Social.

“Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, who is now the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that,” he wrote. “Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
