‘This President Has Literally Saved America!’ Stephen Miller Ends Heated Press Briefing With Wild Rant

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller closed out Thursday’s heated press briefing by going on a wild rant in which he claimed President Donald Trump “has literally saved America.”

Miller was teed up to go on the rant by Brian Glenn — a reporter for the pro-Trump outlet Real America’s Voice. Glenn asked the White House aide about former Vice President Kamala Harris delivering a major speech on Wednesday night.

“She attacked Trump personally, attacked the policies,” Glenn said. “Any comment from the White House on that?”

Miller took the question as an engraved invitation to sound off.

“I think it was a great reminder to the American people of just how blessed we all are that the leader sitting in the Oval Office today is President Donald Trump and not President Kamala Harris,” Miller said. “It was a helpful reminder of just what a travesty and a tragedy that would have been. It would have the end of America.”

Miller went on to attack a variety of Biden-Harris policies — accusing them of “radical regulation, choking off American energy, sending our supply chains to foreign countries, taxing our economy to death, pushing this cancerous ideology on our children, ending merit, ending scientific innovation.”

“What they did to this country is unforgivable,” Miller said. “It is an eternal stain on the Democrat party.”

After getting a shot in at the media by sarcastically claiming “The only thing that gets them exercised is — do we need to have more trials for terrorist supporters,” the deputy chief of staff wrapped up his two-and-a-half minute rant by making a grand statement about what he believes Trump’s impact has been.

“This president has literally saved America,” Miller said. “And I could not be prouder. I could not be prouder, as I know Karoline [Leavitt] feels the same way, to come every single day to this building where we have a leader sitting in office whose first, last, and every thought is the safety, prosperity, security, and sovereignty of the citizens.”
