Trump Rages Into Dark of Midnight Against His Building Seizures As Deadline Day Hits

Former President Donald Trump raged at the possible seizures of his properties in a social media rant posted after midnight as the deadline to post his fraud appeal bond hit — and hours before he was due in court for one of his felony criminal cases.
There has been a lot of wild speculation about how — or if — Trump will pay the bond to appeal payment of the fraud judgment that could cost him in excess of $460 million if appeals are unsuccessful. The deadline for that bond, if the appeals court doesn’t intervene, is Monday.
Monday is also when Trump is expected to appear in court before Judge Juan Merchan for a hearing in the case that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has brought involving hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels, which resulted in a several-dozen-count indictment of Trump.
At ten minutes after midnight Monday morning, Trump raged about the prospect of his buildings being seized and again attacked President Joe Biden with an oft-debunked claim:
Why should a Crooked, highly political New York Judge, Arthur Engoron, working in concert and coordination with an even more Corrupt Attorney General, Letitia “Peekaboo” James, his Puppet Master, and the White House, be allowed to take away, and sell off, very successful properties and assets that took me years to zone, build and nurture into some of the best of their kind anywhere in the World – WHEN I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG! These Radical Left Lunatics and Communists ask me to pay a ridiculous and completely unheard of fine of over $450,000,000 only because they saw a similar amount in my bank account. I had intended to use much of that hard earned money on running for President. They don’t want me to do that — ELECTION INTERFERENCE!
Trump began claiming last week that he had enough cash to pay the bond in yet another all-caps rant in which he wrote “THROUGH HARD WORK, TALENT, AND LUCK, I CURRENTLY HAVE ALMOST FIVE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS IN CASH, A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF WHICH I INTENDED TO USE IN MY CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT.”
Trump’s appearance in the Stormy Daniels case comes on the heels of a new documentary film called Stormy that features fresh revelations about the alleged sexual encounter at the center of the case.
