WATCH: ATV Driver Runs Over Police Officer, Cops Scramble to Catch Suspect

A police officer was viciously mowed down by an ATV driver in downtown Kansas City in a shocking moment that was caught on camera.
Harrowing video of the incident shows the police officer trying to stop the ATV, only to be knocked to the side.
The driver then pops a wheelie, striking the driver a second time.
Police have released an image of the ATV driver and his ride in hopes of making an arrest.

The incident was the latest in a string of troubling incidents on the roads in the area.
“The noise and the aggressiveness — they’re not following any road rules,” Anton Kotar, the owner of Anton’s Restaurant, told KMBC. “They’re not following any road rules. They’re blazing through intersections.
The officer suffered head injuries, but is expected to recover and return to work soon, police said.
