WATCH: Wild Video Shows Unruly Passenger Attacking TSA Agents in Miami

A Canadian man has pleaded guilty to assaulting multiple TSA officials at the Miami International Airport in a chaotic incident that was caught on camera.

The newly released security footage from Dec. 28, 2024 shows 28-year-old Cameron McDougall approaching TSA officers at a security station and swinging on them. Multiple officers are seen getting involved in the skirmish as McDougall throws numerous punches before he’s taken down. McDougall was only in Miami because his flight a day prior, from Panama to Toronto, had been diverted after McDougall got into an altercation with another passenger. He was not arrested after the initial incident, but was told he needed to book his flight home through another airline in Miami.

Authorities said McDougall’s attack came “without warning” after he passed through security early in the morning for his flight. He first assaulted a fellow passenger and then a security guard who intervened before making his way to the security area and throwing punches at TSA officers.

McDougall pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting, impeding, or resisting officers, and he could face two years behind bars. He will face sentencing on the federal charges Friday.

The Canadian man is also facing charges from the state of Florida for his actions at the Miami Airport, including battery.

McDougall is due in court on those state charges on June 2.
