‘WE ARE WITNESSING THE POWER OF GOD!’ Trump Basks In Bonkers Fan Rant Claiming Trump ‘CHOSEN BY GOD’
Former President Donald Trump posted a bonkers fan rant that included the claim that “WE ARE WITNESSING THE POWER OF GOD” in Trump, as well as a QAnon codeword.
Before President Joe Biden announced he would no longer be seeking a second term, Trump was riding high with a widening lead after Biden’s debate performance touched off calls for him to drop out. Then Trump was injured in a shooting on July 13 — an assassination attempt that garnered a wave of media goodwill.
That goodwill included a lot of commentary about Trump being a changed man after the attempt on his life — which many saw as undercut by his speech the Republican National Convention, at which Trump selected Senator JD Vance (R-OH) as his running mate.
On Monday night into Tuesday, the pre-shooting Trump was in evidence in a series of Truth Social posts bitterly attacking Vice President Kamala Harris and Biden and the media.
The bombastic side of Trump was also present as he thanked a fan who posted an over-the-top rant that also contained a nod to QAnon:
