‘Who the Hell is in Charge?’ Geraldo Slams Trump’s Re-Reversal on ICE Raids — Suggests Stephen ‘Draco’ Miller is Really Running Things

Geraldo Rivera lashed out at his former friend President Donald Trump over a re-reversal on ICE raids, even questioning whether Trump is actually in charge of his own White House.
“Come on Mr. President, you’re the one the American people elected not Stephen Miller. He doesn’t have a compassionate bone in his body. The problem of immigration can’t be solved with hate,” Rivera wrote in a Tuesday post in reaction to news that Homeland Security is reversing guidance recently issued stating that immigration raids at worksites and farms would be temporarily suspended.
The Washington Post was first to report on the new guidance being reversed this week, with ICE getting the greenlight to continue worksite raids.
“Worksite enforcement remains a cornerstone of our efforts to safeguard public safety, national security and economic stability,” Homeland Security Department spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said in a Tuesday statement. “These operations target illegal employment networks that undermine American workers, destabilize labor markets and expose critical infrastructure to exploitation.”
The reversal came as a surprise to some as the president recently acknowledged the hardships farmers have faced under his mass deportations.
“Our great Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace,” Trump posted to Truth Social last week. “We must protect our Farmers, but get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE USA. Changes are coming!”
“Many American businesses are also going to be profoundly harmed by this regressive policy,” Rivera wrote in response to California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) claiming White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller is “the boss, after all.”
In another post, Rivera questioned “who the hell is in charge at the White House?”
“Deeply disappointed by the President’s abrupt reversal on calling off ICE immigration raids on farming, and hotel workers. Who the hell is in charge in the White House? Donald Trump or Stephen Draco Miller? He may seem a cartoon character, but he is hurting real people,” the former Fox News host said.
Rivera and Trump were close friends for years, but Rivera has talked over the years about how Trump’s belief that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and Rivera’s refusal to believe this soured things between the two. Rivera previously competed and won on Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice.
