NewsNation Expands to 24/7 Cable News Network

NewsNation announced on Wednesday that it is expanding their programming in order to become a 24-hour television network.
Beginning in June, the network will unveil the final portion of its live news line-up with the evening edition of NewsNation Now hosted by anchor Adrienne Bankert on Saturday and Sunday from 4-7 p.m. ET.
Moreover, the news shows and 24/7 coverage follows the new launch of weekend editions of Morning in America with Hena Doba and NewsNation Live which airs from 10 am to 1 p.m. NewsNation also started a new Sunday public affairs show hosted by Chris Stirewalt called The Hill Sunday.
“We are immensely proud to announce that NewsNation is now a 24/7 cable news network,” said Sean Compton, President of Nexstar’s Networks division, in a statement. “This milestone marks the culmination of our efforts to continue expanding and growing the network since launching it in 2020.”
Compton added, “It reaffirms our commitment to delivering unbiased news coverage, a mission that resonates deeply with our viewers, fostering their trust in the brand, and strengthening their loyalty to NewsNation.”
The network has also been on a hiring spree and has brought on Laura Ingle as a senior correspondent for covering breaking and general assignment stories along with Alicia Nieves, who serves as a New York-based correspondent.
