‘I’m Offended as a Comedian!’ Jon Stewart Blown Away By ‘Cowlick’ Mike Johnson Defending ‘Satire’ of Trump’s ‘Diarrhea Plane’ Meme

Jon Stewart was left a little confused by House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) “satire” defense of President Donald Trump posting a meme video of him dropping feces on No Kings protesters.

On Thursday’s The Weekly Show, Stewart kicked things off by noting that millions attended the anti-Trump No Kings protests across the country. The Daily Show host was not only taken aback by the AI video Trump posted to Truth Social, but also defenses from Republicans.

“I am still in the afterglow of all that happened this past weekend with millions and millions of coming out to the streets. And the President of the United States showing a video of him as a king in an airplane dropping what can only be described as diarrhea and really more than you would think that plane was capable of carrying,” Stewart said.

He noted that even “sh*tty” presidents like Richard Nixon would likely never stoop to posting such a video.

“I just want to point out very quickly that’s the President of the United States of America, long lineage of great men from Lincoln to Washington to Roosevelt, Jefferson, even the sh*tty ones, you know, Hoover, Garfield, you know, that kind of sh*t,” he said.

The comedian accused Republicans of twisting themselves into pretzels to defend the odd post from the president.

“I think my favorite part of it was Republicans who were asked about said diarrhea plane and have to say things like, well the American people know that Donald Trump speaks his mind and they really appreciate his honest reaction of the diarrhea plane,” he said.

Stewart specifically called out “little cowlick” Johnson, saying the speaker’s comments offended him as a comedian. Johnson also referred to the protests as a “Hate America” rally.

“He is using satire to make a point — he is not calling for the murder of his political opponents, and that’s what these people are doing,” Johnson told reporters this week.

Stewart said:

Mike Johnson was the best, the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Little Cowlick Mike Johnson. “What do you make of the president showing a video of him dropping diarrhea from a plane onto American people who are just expressing their dissatisfaction?” “Well, the president is, you know, he’s very satirical. I appreciate the satire.”

And I’m offended, not as an American, but as a comedian. What is the satire? I’m just curious. Is the satire, oh, get it? It’s diarrhea from a plane! I get it now. Good one, sir.
