Marjorie Taylor Greene Goes Off on Laura Loomer and Says She Has ‘No Respect’ for Mike Johnson

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) continued taking shots at her own political party in a Wednesday interview with Tucker Carlson, calling out House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and MAGA activist Laura Loomer.

Greene joined The Tucker Carlson Show this week and held nothing back, criticizing Republicans over the current government shutdown and inflation.

“Right now, Tucker, a lot of people are happy about the government shutdown, but I really have no respect for the House not being in session. And I have no respect for Speaker Johnson not calling us back to Washington because we should be passing bills,” Greene said.

The Georgia congresswoman has become more critical of her party’s leadership in recent weeks, arguing they are not focused on issues like healthcare costs, home loans, and overall inflation.

“Food prices are high. Rent is high. Home prices are ridiculously high. Cars are high. Auto insurance, home insurance, health insurance is insane. Energy prices are high,” she said, adding some of her own bills, including her electric bill, has gone up in the last year since President Donald Trump took office.

Greene also blasted Loomer and her close relationship to the president.

“How does Laura Loomer get to be a Pentagon adviser, but you get primaried? What is that?” Carlson asked.

“I don’t know. I’ve never understood why anyone takes her seriously,” Greene responded. “This is a woman who can’t even legally buy a gun because she had such serious mental problems.”

Loomer was reportedly denied the opportunity to own a firearm by the FBI. Loomer and allies claimed she was targeted as she was not informed of the FBI’s decision until she inquired about a denied permit.

Greene, who has clashed with Loomer before, called out her posts to X, saying the political activist “hysterically” tweets dozens of times a day.

“Who listens to a person like that? No one should!” she said.
