Breakfast Club Caller Triggered as Host Calls Trump ‘President’: ‘If You Don’t Like It, You Got To Move!’
A triggered caller lit up The Breakfast Club radio show after one of the hosts referred to President Donald Trump as “the president.”
A caller identifying themselves as “Sonya” called into The Breakfast Club this week and said she had an issue with Jess Hilarious referring to Trump as “the president.” The caller appeared, however, to actually be referencing Morgyn Wood, who referred to the president by his title during the show’s news segment.
“I just have a really big problem with, like…I guess I’m still, like, sounding like I’m repeating myself, but Jess keeps calling that orange guy Donald Trump. And everybody else on the news channels are just calling him Donald Trump. Like, are y’all proud of him?” the caller asked.
“Girl, listen, he the president of the United States,” Jess said. “It’s okay.”
“He is not the president!” the incensed caller said.
“He is. I don’t know who he is then. What you think he is? You know what I mean? It ain’t about riding with him,” Jess said.
The caller said the hosts sounded “real ignorant” and insisted Trump has said he “stole” the election, though it’s unclear what she’s referring to. Trump often speaks about “stolen” elections, usually referring to his unfounded claims that the 2020 election was rigged against him.
“Baby, you sound like you just don’t want to face reality,” Jess said.
The Breakfast Club co-host then hit the caller with a reality check.
“He is the president. Have a good day, baby girl. Don’t worry about what I call him. He is the president of the United States. If you don’t like it, you got to move. You got to just move out the country. I don’t like it either, but I’m not running away from the fact that Donald Trump is our president. That’s what it is,” Jess explained.
DJ Envy then informed her “Sonya” had already hung up.
“She’s mad at you!” he told his co-host, pointing out that Jess did not even make the comment in question.
“She’s madder at me than the damn president,” Jess said.
