Rosie O’Donnell Calls Trump a ‘Pedophile’ and ‘Convicted Sexual Rapist’ With No Pushback From Ana Navarro
Rosie O’Donnell branded President Donald Trump a “pedophile” and “convicted sexual rapist” during a Monday podcast interview with The View co-host Ana Navarro.
Navarro did not push back on the comments at all — suggesting she may be ignorant or indifferent to her own network paying the president $15 million to settle a defamation lawsuit in 2024, after anchor George Stephanopoulossaid Trump was found “liable for rape.”
Trump’s longtime nemesis and Navarro didn’t seem to care, though.
O’Donnell called the president a sex criminal while talking about her decision to ditch the States for Ireland, following Trump’s 2024 victory.
“I was positive we were not going to elect the man who led an insurrection against the United States, who’s a convicted sexual rapist,” O’Donnell said.
The comment lingered in the air for three seconds before O’Donnell continued.
“You can’t say rapist, you’ll get in trouble,” she said.
She went on, saying CBS was one of the media outlets which had “capitulated” to Trump by canceling Stephen Colbert’s late night show. The host let O’Donnell’s rant slide.
Unlike Navarro, MS NOW anchor Alex Witt recently jumped in to add “proper terminology” after a liberal lawmaker called Trump an “adjudicated rapist” on her show.
O’Donnell’s comment came a few minutes after she admitted she was itching for a female reporter to publicly scold Trump.
“How about a right to his face, ‘F*ck you, you pedophile. Who do you think you are?'” O’Donnell dreamed.
Navarro let out a “hmm,” before saying she didn’t understand why the press doesn’t “walk out” on Trump.
The O’Donnell-Navarro interview followed Trump mocking his old enemy on Sunday.
Trump posted an AI-generated picture mocking O’Donnell for her self-imposed exile in Ireland, with a loony-looking O’Donnell writing a letter to “my dearest Donald” in the pic. She is surrounded by Irish knickknacks like a Guinness beer and a leprechaun as she penned her love letter. The post was part of a flurry of AI-generated pics Trump posted, which also included jabs at Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Kimmel.
O’Donnell said on Monday she had to flee the USA because her mental health was in such bad shape during Trump’s first term.
“I was drinking too much, I was eating too much. I was very, very depressed,” she said. “I painted hundreds of portraits to sort of exorcise it from my body.”
