Brewers Manager Introduced the World to ‘Pocket Pancakes’ Earlier This Month. The Team Hasn’t Lost a Game Since

Weeks after Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy revealed his “pocket pancakes” to the sports world, his team has yet to lose a game.
On August 1, Murphy did an in-game interview with Apple TV reporter Tricia Whitaker, during which he revealed an affinity for “pocket pancakes” before reaching into his back pocket pulling one out.
After taking a bite into the treat, Murphy was kind enough to offer some to Whitaker, who tore off a piece and enjoyed the pocket pancake experience herself.
Murphy’s pocket snacks aren’t limited to pancakes, however. He also revealed in the interview that he’ll put “whatever fits” in his pocket — including pizza and bagels.
After the game, the pocket pancake was all the rage, with Murphy explaining his storage process to the media.
When asked how he’s able to keep pizza in his pocket without compromising the integrity of the pants, he said that he simply folds the slices before placing them inside. As for his topping of choice, Murphy said he usually goes for sausage.
In addition, American Family Field — where the Brewers play — has been selling their own pocket pancakes to fans on Sundays.
Since that bizarre moment, the Brewers have been the hottest team in the MLB.
At the time of the writing, the Brewers won 12 straight games to improve to 76-44 — by far the best record in the league.
In their three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Brewers scored a total of 33 runs while surrendering just five.
