Draymond Green Rips Warriors Studio Host Who’s Been Calling Him Out All Season: ‘I Am Shocked You’re Talking to Me!’
Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green made sure to let one studio host that he hadn’t forgotten his harsh words in the aftermath of his suspension.
After the Warriors’ 110-99 win over the New York Knicks on Thursday, Green did an interview for NBC Sports Bay Area’s post-game show. When host Bonta Hill introduced himself and his colleagues, a surprised Green cut him off.
“Bonta, I am shocked you’re talking to me!” Green said. “The way you were talking about me when I got suspended, I am very shocked you’re talking to me.”
Hill’s colleagues egged on the confrontation, but Hill simply smiled and asked Green a question about playing in Madison Square Garden.
Green wasn’t in the mood to give the question much thought.
“It’s always a fun game,” he said.
Earlier in the season, Hill had strong words for Green after the 33-year-old was suspended twice for on-court issues. The first suspension came when Green put Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a headlock during an altercation. Hill said, “Enough’s enough.”

Then, Green was given an even longer suspension when he struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic. That caused Hill to float the idea of the team parting ways with him.
I wonder if this January clip is what Draymond was referring to about Bonta.
They even implied possibly trading Dray by referencing the Tyreek Hill Chiefs to Dolphins move & how KC won in 2023 last year without him. 🤔 pic.twitter.com/4FjNZJ3tDa
