A fan at Tuesday’s Philadelphia Phillies game was the latest to receive a painful lesson in what happens when one decides to jump onto the field.

The Phillies continued their hot streak Tuesday night, steamrolling the Arizona Diamondbacks 10-0 in Game 2 of the NLCS. With the win, the team is just two more wins from a second straight World Series berth.

Going back to last year’s playoffs, much of the conversation around the Phillies was about the atmosphere of Citizens Bank Park. In a short amount of time, Phillies fans have established themselves as perhaps the most lively group in the league.

While watching the team dominate, one fan seemed to get swept up in the moment and stormed the field. The Phillies bullpen — who at that point was in the outfield — appeared to shout and point out the fan to get the attention of field security. After sprinting on the outfield for a few seconds, the fan got absolutely destroyed with the kind of tackle typically seen in old NFL highlights.

In the clip, there are several factors at play that actually make the moment quite cinematic. For starters, the slow tolling of a bell that plays in the stadium went off a fraction of a second before the point of contact. The timing was nearly perfect.

Then, fans near the person recording all let out a “BOOM” in unison.

Finally, the reactions from the pitchers really shot the clip into legendary territory. After pointing the fan out to security, several of the pitchers were stunned by how hard he was hit by the security guard. One of them simply fell to the ground, while another put his hands on his head as if he’d just witnessed a car crash.
