Rep. Jim Jordan is best known in Washington D.C. as Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and, as a result, purveyor of the @JudiciaryGOP social media feed on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He’s also known for several other unique traits: He’s also a former collegiate wrestler for Ohio State, a ‘look the other way-er” of alleged improprieties within the OSU wrestling program, a failed House Speaker wannabe, an avid eschewer of suit jackets, and an open election denier who played a central role in the capitol riots on January 6th.
But on Thursday, we learned another interesting thing about Jordan: He appears to enjoy spending Thanksgiving Day by trolling progressives because, well, of course, he does!
Thanksgiving saw the traditional NFL games featuring the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys, which has long been a tradition. However, the Cowboys faced the Washington Commanders, who recently changed their name from the Redskins amid the controversy that “Redskin” has long been an offensive term for the indigenous people of North America.
In this context, Jordan aimed to “own the libs” by intentionally posting on X, “Hope everyone enjoys the Cowboys and Redksins game today.”
Hope everyone enjoys the Cowboys and Redskins game today.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Day is a wonderful American tradition filled with long walks, touch football games, eating too much turkey and dressing, and watching football games with the family. Jim Jordan also appears to love spending part of his Thanksgiving trolling the libs!
