Taylor Swift’s Podcast With Kelce Brothers Smashes Show’s Records With 10.4 Million Views in 17 Hours

Taylor Swift’s appearance on the New Heights podcast with two noted NFL stars — her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his retired brother Jason Kelce — has racked up a staggering 10.4 million views in just 17 hours since its release.

On the episode, which marks Swift’s first major podcast appearance in years, she announced that her newest album, The Life of a Showgirl, will release in October.

The hype surrounding the two-hour interview between Swift and the brothers ensured the episode shattered previous viewership records for the popular New Heights podcast on YouTube. The previous most-watched interview on the show’s page is an interview with Kylie Kelce, the wife of Jason, who played center for the Philadelphia Eagles before he retired from football in 2023. The Kylie interview, released last year, currently boasts 8.6 million views.

On her own podcast, released Thursday, Kylie weighed in on Taylor Swift taking her throne. “Officially no longer the record holder for the most-watched episode of the other podcast,” she said. “There’s no way it’s even close, and I love that for me.”

“It is very entertaining to watch the internet break,” she added. “It’s just crumbling apart, and I love it. I love it. I love that we know that a day before it releases my interview on the other podcast is going to lose its long-tenured reign as most-watched episode, and I welcome that wholeheartedly. Let’s drop that sucker down.”

During the Swift episode, the pop superstar spoke about the debate around her attending her boyfriend’s games — Travis Kelce is a three-time Super Bowl champion tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs — and the ups and downs of her music career, getting emotional when she was asked about her fight to win ownership of her masters.
