Alyssa Farah Griffin Mocks ‘Stuck in the 90s’ Trump: ‘Still Thinks Diddy is Puff Daddy’

The ladies of The View took several jabs at President Donald Trump on Tuesday’s show, with panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin proclaiming that the commander in chief is “stuck in the 90s and 2000s” when it comes to pop culture.

Griffin’s remarks came as the panel discussed Trump’s recent streak of presidential pardons, including Todd and Julie Chrisley.

The discussion then turned to the possibility that rapper Diddy, currently on trial for sex trafficking in New York, could receive one.

“I would certainly look at the facts — If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact on me,” Trump said when asked by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy if he’d consider pardoning the rapper.

Griffin then suggested that Trump’s loyalties may lie in another time, when Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was on top of the rap world and the two were friends.

“I also think that Trump, in terms of pop culture, is stuck in like the 90s to early 2000s, like he’s frozen in time,” she said. “So I’m pretty sure he thinks Diddy is still Puff Daddy and probably still dating J.Lo. I don’t know if he has any concept of where he is.”

“Yeah, he’s still dancing to the YMCA,” Sunny Hostin added.
