Axelrod: If I’d Known About Hillary’s Email Server, I’d Have Asked Questions

During a Wednesday morning appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, former Obama White House senior adviser David Axelrod admitted that had he been aware of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton‘s use of a private email server, he’d have expressed concerns.

Axelrod served in the White House from the start of Barack Obama‘s first term until January 2011, overlapping with much of Clinton’s State Department tenure. I’d Have “asked a few questions,” he told Mika Brzezinski, had he been made aware of Clinton’s email situation. “I would have concerns.”

However, he added, “I’m not sure” how much of an impact the email controversy will have on her election chances in 2016.
