Brian Kilmeade Gives Karine Jean-Pierre Credit for Pushing Back on Squad Members: ‘I Was Stunned’

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade offered a rare positive comment about White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over her break with progressive Democrats amid the Israel-Hamas war.

Kilmeade’s remarks came on Thursday as Fox & Friends talked about the blowback against a handful of progressive members of Congress who recently demonstrated against Israel’s oppression of Palestinians, as Israel enters its sixth day of fighting against Hamas in retaliation for the terror group’s kidnappings and murderous atrocities throughout the country.

Fox & Friends acknowledged how Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) renounced his membership with the Democratic Socialists of America yesterday after the organization promoted a pro-Palestinian protest where antisemitism was blatantly displayed. Thanedar’s fellow Democrats also condemned that rally. To that point, Fox & Friends talked about further backlash to those who’ve pushed anti-Israeli rhetoric amid the ongoing war.

Kilmeade wondered if this rejection of anti-Israeli sentiment marked “the beginning of the end” of wokeism in America. This eventually led to him acknowledging the press briefing where Jean-Pierre rejected the “disgraceful” rhetoric of Reps Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), both of whom tried to both-sides the Israel conflict after Hamas’ attack.

“We watched KJP for the first time push back on other Democrats,” Kilmeade said. “I was stunned by that, saying there’s no other side to this.”
