Brzezinski: Hillary’s ‘Lost the Ability to Be Transparent’

Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski bemoaned the deletion of thousands of emails from Hillary Clinton’s server, arguing the action left the putative Democratic frontrunner unable to definitively answer any accusation.

“There is no way to prove or disprove any of these questions,” Brzezinski said. “I wish she had not scrubbed the server. Because if nothing went wrong, she’s lost the opportunity to be completely transparent.”

“She didn’t scrub the server by accident,” cohost Joe Scarborough added.

Clinton conducted her State Department email on a private server, in possible violation of federal regulations. Though she turned over 55,000 emails to the State Department, she deleted upwards of 30,000 she felt to be private, emails that are now all the more suspicious in the wake of allegations that she traded favorable treatment from State for donations to the Clinton Foundation.

Competing polls in the past day have found Clinton’s honesty or trustworthiness factor going down or up; pick whichever one confirms your ideological preconceptions and delete your account.
