Chicago Bears Somehow Botch Last Second Field Goal, Twitter Roasts Them: ‘Staley Da Bear Died Tonight’
Twitter exploded after the notoriously troubled Chicago Bears blew their first NFL playoff appearance since 2011 with a botched field goal, losing the home game 16-15 to the Philadelphia Eagles.
After the Eagles took the lead by scoring a touchdown in the final minutes of the game, the Bears responded by marching up the field and opting to a kick a last second, relatively low-risk field goal, which ultimately missed after the Bears kicker Cody Parker kicked the ball too far right — causing it to hit the side of the goal post and ricochet off to the side.
The Internet jumped on the Chicago tragedy and quickly churned out memes mocking the team and laughing at the Bears mascot, who can be seen collapsing behind the goal post in defeat after Parker’s miss.

Is going to throw this out there-
Remember it’s a game. I’m pissed, you’re pissed, we’re all pissed.
With that being said, don’t act stupid to Cody Parkey. Please. He’s human & again, it’s just a game.
He should be cut & I bet he will be. Leave it at that. #Bears
