Fox’s Chris Wallace: NBC Shouldn’t Leave David Gregory ‘Twisting in the Wind’
Continuing its long line of imaginative guests, Fox’s MediaBuzz hosted Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace for a discussion on the relevance of Sunday shows, which Wallace defended, and on the uncertain fate of Meet the Press’ David Gregory, whom industry spectators believe could be on his way out. Wallace thought NBC News’ refusal to say one way or the other was “lousy.”
“We all understand we don’t have a right to these jobs,” Wallace said. “On the other hand we do have a right to be treated properly and not shabbily. If you’re going to get rid of David Gregory — and I don’t know that they are, I have no inside information — then they oughta just do it.”

“This twisting in the wind is unseemly,” he continued. “They oughta say either ‘He’s our guy and we’re sticking with him,’ or they should get rid of him.”
