CNN Panel Blows Up Over ‘Bad Hombres’: It’s Not the N-Word!
There were a lot of people tonight very bothered by Donald Trump‘s “bad hombres” line in reference to illegal immigrants, and CNN’s panel exploded over it tonight.
Patti Solis Doyle called it “very offensive,” but chief CNN Trump booster Jeff Lord cried, “Oh, come on!… I’ve heard that phrase all my life!”
Solis Doyle asked where he’s heard that. Lord responded, “American television westerns in the 1950s.”
Anderson Cooper pointed out, “I’m not sure 1950s American television is the best benchmark for what is good language.”
Lord then cried, “I have never heard that compared to, say, the n-word, right? Right? This is political correctness!… There’s nothing wrong with it!”
Almost everyone else on the panel was utterly bewildered…
…except for Kayleigh McEnany, who complained that “this is such a high-offense culture.”
