Last night CNN’s John King said that if the Trump White House is going to make it harder for journalists to do their jobs, they should just keep working hard at it.
In response to CNN and other news organizations being barred from yesterday’s press gaggle, King said that President Trump simply doesn’t like tough stories and is conflating that with “fake news.”
“If they make it harder for us to do our job,” King told Anderson Cooper, “we just need to work harder. We shouldn’t whine, we shouldn’t complain.”
He also argued that when the White House limits press access, it limits the “global platform” the president has to push his agenda.
