Colbert: Elizabeth Warren DNA Test Reveals With ‘High Confidence’ She’s Running For President

On Monday night, Stephen Colbert had some fun at the expense of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) for the release of a DNA test to prove she has some sort of Native American heritage.

Colbert began by going after President Donald Trump for his “racist” attacks against Warren, repeatedly referring to her “affectionately” as “Pocahontas.”

“See? It may be racist, but it’s affectionate,” Colbert said. “Because Trump has great affection for racism.”

He then showed a clip from the highly-produced campaign video where Warren is speaking to a DNA expert who can say with “high confidence” that Warren has Native American ancestry.

“You heard them right,” Colbert told the audience. “This test accurately reveals with a high confidence that Elizabeth Warren… is running for president. That we know, it came back positive.”

Colbert called the video “impressive,” adding that the only thing that could have made it more “dramatic” if the results were revealed by Maury Povich.

The Late Show host then blasted President Trump for telling reporters he doesn’t “care” about Warren’s DNA results.

“You care! You’re literally the only person who cares!” Colbert exclaimed. “In fact, you card so much, you once offered a million dollars to charity if Senator Warren proves she was part Native American!”

He piled on the president for remarks he made during a rally challenging Warren with a DNA test at a debate, adding he had a “feeling that she’d say no.”

“Well Mr. President, she didn’t say no, she said yes. But rumor has it, you don’t know the difference,” Colbert told Trump. “We don’t have to wait for the president’s DNA. He’s 100% douche.”
