Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson: Maybe I Could Be Trump’s Spiritual Adviser

Duck Dynasty‘s Phil Robertson said today on Fox that while he was “forced into the Trump train,” he’s now willing to do whatever’s necessary to help Donald Trump beat the Democratic nominee.

Robertson hinted at reservations he still holds about Trump, in saying, “I know Clinton’s record or Bernie Sanders’… With Donald, I’m not quite sure, since he doesn’t have a record in the political arena. However, I’m taking my chances not even knowing.”

He said that he wants to sit down with Trump “with a Bible in between us” and help him with “concepts like loving your enemies… forgive them and more on.”

“I can see it now,” Robertson remarked, “Trump wins and the camera’s panning and his spiritual adviser is me!”
