Earthquake Raises Concerns Over Stability Of Japanese Nuclear Power Plants

Japan has 54 nuclear power plants which provide the country with about thirty percent of its power. Experts say the quake has caused “a complete disaster” for the system, as each facility will need to be thoroughly examined before they can resume normal operations.
