Ed Schultz Celebrates ‘Bully’ Gov. Chris Christie’s Approval Ratings ‘Taking A Dive’

Ed Schultz rejoiced last night over some poll results out of New Jersey showing that Republican Governor Chris Christie‘s approval ratings have “taken a dive.” Schultz found this particularly gratifying since Christie is the “great white hope for conservatives to turn everything around for the righties,” yet suggested the likes of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter are clueless to praise Christie when his own residents don’t even like him.

Schultz discussed poll results that show New Jersey residents think of Christie as a bully and that also showed if Christie ran for President, then President Obama would easily win the state of New Jersey against Christie. Schultz concluded:

“Why in the world do you think that the middle class and the folks in New Jersey would believe that he’s a bully? Maybe it’s because he stands up to people in town hall meetings and disrespects everyone who disagrees with him? The people of New Jersey are very smart.”

Giving tax breaks to the rich, attacking public union employees, cutting money from education and firing teachers are just some of the complaints Schultz alleged about Christie’s job performance. Yet some might argue if taking such typically unpopular positions only resulted in a five point drop in his approval rating, then maybe the situation isn’t quite so bad for the Governor?
